This is the fourth book that I started writing, I think, and I just didn't really like it very much so I stopped writing it.
cover:

Summery:
Have you ever wondered if the sun will come out in you, even with all the darkness that keeps on consuming your body till there’s nothing left? Well, I have. No! Scratch that! I do wonder that. After finding out that I was the world's first, and only, hybrid, my dad didn't die and that he was was a vampire, and that my mate was my best, first and also my only friend, I thought that nothing could surprise me anymore... but boy, was I way off. It all started when I found out that my dad, Derrick, was not only a vampire but a Pureblood. And that my family died because of me, and that I'm the main plot of a dark legend, created from the darkness itself in the dark ages.
prologue: new parents-
Golden’s P.O.V.
"Come on, traitor," my own sister snarled with hate. "Keep on moving!"
Let me give you a quick, small, summary of me, oh and just so you know I'm a werewolf. I fell in love and married a vampire, and I'm going to bare his children soon.
My own kind hates me. Even my friends and siblings turned their back on me, but I don't regret my actions.
I'm 24 years old in human years. My name is Goldenheart, but my nickname is, or was, Golden, and my vampire mate's name is Derrick.
Derrick's P.O.V.
"This is just great! I'm going to be an uncle!" My twin brother said with an angry attitude in the waiting room. He's waiting with me for my beautiful Golden to give birth to our mind-blowing children.
I'm Derrick and the love of my life is Goldenheart, but everyone calls her Golden, her name really suits her. I'm 250, but I'm just 25 in human years. You must be wondering how I'm 250, and I have a simple answer, I'm a vampire.
"And why do you say it like it's a bad thing," I calmly uttered while pacing back and forth in the small waiting room.
"Because their mother is a stupid werewolf, that's why!" he snapped.
"OK, OK. No need to get snippy, and she's not stupid, she's wonderful." I softly said.
"Will you stop pacing? You’re making me nervous." He said just as the nurse came in.
"You’re a father of five, but one is still on the way, sir," the nurse calmly said looking down at the shiny gray, glossy floor. "Only one of them is a true hybrid, the other four are not."
After saying that she walked back in the mysteries room were my wife and new born children are.
Golden’s P.O.V.
"Should we name them now?" I thought at Derrick.
I'm in my wolf form so I can’t speak, well I can but only canines, and were-canines will understand me. He nodded a quick yes to my question, I would have turned back into my human form so we can debate on what to name are wonderful pups, but that would hurt the last one.
"How about this one is, Akita," my one and only true love asked, cradling the male one of our two vampire children.
"Yes, that's a lovely name," I answered.
"And this one can be Midnight," he said, picking up the other vampire child with his free arm. I nodded, thinking.
"Those two can be Smoky, and Silver," I said with uncertainty.
"Beautiful. Now, what about the last one?" Derrick asked.
We thought long and hard about what to name the fifth child.
"Oh, I know! How about Luna, her pale skin in the pitcher thingy reminds me of the glowing full moon," I excitedly suggested.
"Yes, that's perfect." my love said.
The heavy metal door flew open, and blood-shot eyed vampires fled inside. With the door opened, I could see a vampire snap the nurse's neck, I gasped at this horrific site.
Derrick's P.O.V.
They killed all but one; Golden's in denial because of it. I want to know who those vampires are and why they came and killed our day old kids; they killed Smoky, Silver, Akita, and Midnight, they thankfully didn't see Luna, since she wasn't born yet.
Luna is now a month old, she has ebony hair, and she is very smart. She has already said her first word which is 'death'. I do kind of find it a strange first word. Golden and I both decided that we won’t tell Luna that she is a hybrid and that I, a pureblood vampire, is her father. She will find out on her 18th birthday and then I can finally see Golden's and I's beautiful, wonderful, and smart daughter.
Golden's P.O.V.
Luna is the smartest yearling I've ever known; she is talking as fluent as a very smart six year old. I miss Derrick, I can’t see him for Luna's safety; So Luna will think that he died, we're going to tell her on her 18th birthday, but I fear that I won’t make it till then.
It's all for Luna, the cruel worlds first unknown hybrid.
Chapter one: death-
Everyone in my family dies; theirs so much death and sorrow in my twisted, destroyed, and harsh life. I lost everyone, except my aunt, but she doesn't even want me.
I am so sorry, I didn't introduce myself; I'm Luna. My mum died when I was four, at that time my aunt, Dawn, took me in; well actually she was forced to. She’s all I have and she doesn't even want me; I don't know why. If you're wondering about my father, he died when I was very young, or so they say.
I have long ebony hair with blood-red tips, pale moon looking skin, and black eyes with crimson blood specks in them; my blood-red lips are soft and plump, or at least they look soft and plump.
My aunt has beautiful light hazel eyes, long flowing brown hair, soft plum pink lips, purely white teeth, and a beautiful figure, I guess my mum looked like that too because they were identical twins, and no one will tell me what my dad looked like so I can’t tell you that, I don't even know what his name is.
"Wake up you ninns'!" a stupid vampire yelled from the dark red hallway.
They call us she-werewolves ninns' and the male werewolves’ ninnies; so original right?
"Aunt." I said before getting cut off.
"I told you not to call me that!" dawn snarled in a harsh tone.
"I'm turning 18 tomorrow, can you please, please, tell me what my dad looks like?" I asked with hopeful eyes, but she just vigorously shook her head, no.
Today is my 18th birthday and I'm going to try asking about my father again.
"Dawn, can you please tell me about my dad?" I pleaded.
"No! I would rather die than talk about that stupid jerk!" dawn snarled before a muscular vampire with black shaggy hair that covered his glowing eye's appeared in front of dawn.
"That can be arranged," the vampire said jokingly then noticed dawns face. "I apologize for scaring you, Dawn; thank you for taking care if my pup, Luna."
He must have noticed my confused facile expression because he turned around to face me, his shaggy hair swaying still covering his sparkling eyes, he looked oddly familiar, and I wonder why. "Hello my darling daughter, I'm Derrick, your father."
"B-but, I, I t-thought t-that m-my dad died" I stuttered in disbelieve. "b-besides, you c-can’t be m-my dad, y-you're a, a v-vampire."
He chuckled at that, I wonder what's so funny.
"You’re just like your mum that's for sure." the muscular vampire, Derrick, said with a soft smile. "I miss her. Come, let me prove to you that I am your father,"
"Why should I believe you?!" I said, my jaw and fists clenching before I reluctantly agreed.
"I don't understand, why did they kill them?" I asked with blank eyes.
"I don't know, that's what I've been trying to figure out all these years," he answered. "I believe that there twisted master is the one who owns the werewolf company they had the mark of him on their neck, that's all I could find out."
"What was mum like?" I asked hopefully breaking the depressing silence.
"She was wonderful, beautiful, kind, and sweet; when she was excited her eyes would light up like a second, brighter, sun. the easiest way to tell between her and dawn, were there eye's; dawn's eyes are just plain hazel but, her eyes were a beautiful shade of shiny, sparkling, purple, sometimes yellow; her smile would light up the darkest of rooms" he answered warmly, happy recalling the past of my mum for me.
"Do you have any siblings?" I asked changing the subject.
"I did," he solemnly answered. "I had a twin brother, he was in the waiting room waiting for me on the day they killed your brothers and sisters, he was the first one killed."
"Oh, I'm sorry," I said, I'm not in the mood to ask questions anymore.
"OK, my turn to ask questions," he said breaking another depressing silence. "Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No!" I think that I said that a bit too quickly, and too loud.
"Ah, so you only have a crush," he knowingly chortled.
"Maybe," I mumbled. "Don’t accuse me!"
"I'm not," he softly chuckled. "What’s his name and how do you know him?"
"Shade; I see him around the building and we've helped each other a few times," I blushed.
"OK," he slowly said. "How many friends do you have, what's their names, and age?"
"One; it’s just plain old 19-year-old Shade," I answered.
"Boo!" a familiar voice startled me, making me fall off the bench that I was sitting on. "Did I scare you, pup? Who is this?"
My dad made a confused face.
"My dad, apparently," I answered, getting off the gravel-filed ground. "And, no, you did not, in fact, scare me; as usual.
"Hello, I'm Shade!" he said to my dad, offering his hand, which my dad gladly accepted.
"I'm Derrick," my dad replied.
"Hey, um, Shade, why did it feel like fireworks when you touched my shoulders?" I asked.
"You felt that too?" Shade asked in return while dad started chuckling.
"I guess you two don't know," he said going from a happy mood to a warm, calming, kind of series. "You feel fireworks, right?" we both nodded. "That means that you two are soulmates."
"M-m-mates?!" I stuttered, my face burning up, while Shade smirked.
Why is he smirking?
"Why does this always happen to me?" I sobbed into my newly found mate's shoulder.
"I don't know; I'm sorry. Do you want to see her before she dies?" Shade asked me.
"You have nothing to be sorry for, and yes, I would like to see her before she dies" I croaked rubbing tears out of my red-soaked-blurry eyes and walking into the room that my aunt is in.
"Dawn, no matter what you think of me, or how much you hate me, I will always love you, my aunt," I whispered. "And you will always be my aunt."
I choked on a fresh, new, sob forming in my scratched up throat, right before she died.
Chapter two: shattered pieces-
Shades P.O.V.
She looks so sweet and innocent when she sleep’s.
I’m surprised that her dad didn’t ask what I am, or why I’m here; I’m a type of witch-hybrid species; I’m a witch, werewolf, incubus (my dad was one, I don‘t take after him at all), and I have absolutely no idea what else.
“Shade,” my Luna whimpered.
“I’m right here my darling Luna,” I answered.
“Shade, please don’t leave me like everyone else,” my Luna mournfully mumbled tiredly into my black V-neck t-shirt.
“I wouldn’t dream of it, my beautiful, darling Luna,” I whispered in my darling Luna’s hair.
I’ve always felt protective of Luna, no matter what the situation was, and now I feel even more protective of my darling Luna; I’ve known her since before her mom died. I’ve loved her since the moment I laid my brownish-red eyes on her glowing-pale face and small figure.
It’s been a week since dawn’s death. my Luna is surprisingly taking it very well, I guess she’s used to the family dying; it’s just sad, she’s lost her siblings (they were only a day old when they were murdered and thankfully my Luna was not born yet or she would have been killed as well), her mom, and now her aunt, dawn; she only has her vampire dad and me.
When I woke up I walked over to my wooden dresser and picked out what I was going to wear; I picked, a loose black button up shirt, I left the first few unbuttoned, blue jeans, a pair of black combat boots, and a leather with denim armed Hood (the hood is also denim) to top it off. Once I got outside, started walking straight to the division that holds my darling, Luna.
“Shade!” my Luna yelled running up to me and tackling my Luna in a hug. “I missed you!” I smiled at that.
“Is that so? We’ve only been apart for, what, a few hours,” I chuckled, messing with her long intimidating black and red hair.
“So!? Can’t I miss my amazing mate?” she asked batting my hand away.
“Well, that depends…” I said pausing.
“On what?” my Luna asked.
“On how much you missed me,” I said deviously, grabbing her pale hands and leading her into the dark and dense forest. “Don’t be afraid, pup, you know that I would never hurt you; I just want to show you something.”
“I’m not afraid!” my Luna protested and I chuckled.
“Wow…” my Luna gasped, with her eye’s wide, when she saw the shadowy pond that’s been hidden in the middle of the forest.
The water of the pond look’s almost black because of the blackened leaves thick trees’ casting their shadows’ on the pond in hopes of catching something from the pond.
“Is that all you can say is ‘wow’,” I quizzed my darling mate. “After I show you this amazing place?”
“Any place you are is an amazing place.” my love murmured standing on the tips of her toes’ and kissed the tip if my shadowed nose.
“What’s this thing?” I asked lifting a big black fluffy thing in the air.
“It’s a pillow!” she replied grabbing it out if my fingers and whacking me with it.
“Hey!” an unknown male voice snarled. “What do you think you’re doing in here?”
I turned around to face the unknown male and on the calmest voice that I could muster, I said, “Packing, so my mate, here, can be with her dad, because her aunt died a week and a half ago,”
I don’t like the way he’s looking at my Luna.
“Oh, and who’s your dad, ninny,” he furtively asked my Luna.
“Derrick, Derrick blood,” my Luna replied, intertwining her pale fingers with mine.
“T-the p-pure b-blood d-Derrick? B-but all the hybrid specimens w-were s-slaughtered,” he stuttered.
“Wrong! All, but one was slaughtered, now I suggest you quit looking at my daughter like that, Acustis, unless you want a protective mate and a pureblood father to rip you apart limb from limb!” my Luna’s dad growled at the unknown male, his name is apparently Acustis, leaving him speechless. “Now you’re going to tell me everything that you know about who slaughtered my brother and children!”
“Y-yes s-sir,” he stuttered.
“Why didn’t you tell me that you’re a royal vampire?!” my Luna sounded hurt.
“It slipped my mind,” her dad answered,
“Oh, yeah, it’s not like you couldn’t have just said, hey, Luna not only am I a vampire, I’m a royal vampire!” my Luna said sarcastically.
“And you’re mom was a true blood,” her dad added, I might as well say what my dad was.
“And my dad was an incubus,” I mumbled to try to lighten up the darkening mood, at least to made my darling Luna brake out giggling.
“What’s an incubus?” Derrick asked, obviously confused.
“Well the clean version is basically a demand that wants to be a father,” I said slowly.
I had hoped that he wouldn’t off asked that awkward question.
“Oh, what was your mom?” he asked
“She was a witch-werewolf with some other stuff that I don’t know hybrid-type-mix.” I answered.
Lunas P.O.V.
OK, so apparently I’m the 'main character' of a 'special legend' and the vampires who killed my siblings were just wimps, afraid of a legend.
As I lay on Shades bed I got deep in thought about this legend that I’m supposedly connected to and part of, then it hit me why it sounded so familiar even though I’ve never heard of it before, a lullaby my mom sung to shade and me before she died.
'Sleep, little one, sleep; dream of a Paradise, of a free land. You can learn, you can feel; yet you cannot dye. You are from the moon, chosen, chosen by the moon. From the moon you are; tainted, dark, deadly, and yet, beautiful, free, pure. Sleep, little one, sleep; dream of a land were wolves run free. Run free, brake free. From the moon you are; tainted, dark, deadly, but still, wholesome and pure. find the land were wolves run free, this task the moon has given you; this is the fate of a, Luna; wholesome and pure, yet tainted, deadly, dark, unrecognized with the mark of a Luna. Tainted, deadly, dark, yet still, pure; you are special and free.'
That is the lullaby that my mom sang to me, and now I relies that the lullaby, it’s about, me.
I was so deep in thought that I hadn't realized that my mate, Shade, came back in to the room; he picked me up, put me in his lap, and rapped his muscle filed arms around my skinny waste, before I realized that he was there.
"Shade?!" I squealed, startled.
I would off fell of the large bed if shade didn't have his arms around my waste. "How long have you been here?"
He put his head on my broad shoulder and hummed, thinking, before answering. "About ten minutes; what were you thinking about?"
"T-the legend" I stuttered. "Do you remember the lullaby my mom sung to us when we were little?"
My mate nodded.
"I just realized that it’s basically just a summary of the legend, that's supposedly about me."
